A layout for Scrap the Girls

Woohoo! I have managed to get the Scrap the Girls challenge done two months is a row! I had been itching to get some scrappy time in this weekend so I ignored the housework (it will still be there tomorrow right??) and got stuck into it. I even have another LO half done. Anyway.... this month STG challenge was to use one of the titles listed that all contains the word SHE. I often feel that my titles are dull dull dull so I loved this challenge and this quote sums up my girl perfectly, she has an amazing imagination. I have used MME papers and some of the flowers that I made the other week.

Thanks for stopping by. Pop back in later for my Scrapping Outback sketch challenge entry.

March

The March challenge is up over at Scrap Jacked, with lots of fantastic layouts to inspire you.
This is mine....of my sweet niece on her first birthday. Congratulations to Sam for her winning entry last month.

I also needed to whip up a couple of cards this week, one for a wedding, which I forgot to photograph! (If you are reading this Rache, do you think you could send me a pic lol) I even used my handmade flowers on it. This one was for my daughter who turned 11 on Friday.

I have had a crazy couple of weeks, we have been so busy and I am having withdrawals from scrapping. I am determined to get at least one challenge done this week. I will have some great pics to scrap too, the kids are going on a flying trapeze today, we are all soooo excited!
Thanks for stopping by, I'll be back soon with some pictures of today's adventure.

More handmade flowers

No scrapping happening here lately but I have been blog hopping to check out all the new challenges for a March, eeeekk! How is it already March???
I have, however, managed to snatch a little time to make some more flowers. I hope you were able to see the pics in my last post after I uploaded them again.
What handmade elements do you use in your scrapping or card making?

Handmade Flowers

I love to use handmade emblies so this week I have been having a go at making my own flowers and I must say I am loving the results! Some are made using punched flowers and other I have hand cut, nothing fussy though, all very rustic. I have a heap of glimmer mists which have hardly seen the light of day so I have been putting them to good use along with lots of scrap cardstock and some chalks.

I can't wait to use them on my LOs. Have you made your own flowers? I'd love to see some if you have.

Mmmm....not sure why the pics couldn't be seen. I had made a collage in picasa so maybe that caused a problem. Anyway, I have added them again here, hope you can see them now.

Kraft It Up!

Now that the munchkins are back at school I have had a change to scrap, woohoo! I know I should be putting the house back together but I reeeeealy needed a bit of me time first. The housework can wait 'til next week can't it??
Anyway, I have been following Kraft It Up for ages now but have never gotten around to entering but that has all changed now. Here is my LO for this months challenge, I love the colours and I love that I already had all these goodies in my stash.

Thanks for dropping by.

It's that time again

How fast did January fly by??? I blinked and just about missed it.
The bright side of that though is that the February Scrap Jacked is up waiting to inspire you all. Head on over and check it out here and get scrapping.  Congratulations to all of our winners for January, there were so many fabulous entries.
My DT layout for this month includes something I do rather a lot of, hidden journaling. Often I want to tell the whole story of the pic and use lots of photos but it can all get too crowded especially as I do 8 x8 LOs, this way I my photo can still be the focus of the page.  This is also great for journalling that is more personal, that you might not want everyone to see.

I can't wait to see your creations.
